2:15-4:15 Education Program
Presented by: Ian Danielsen, LCSW
About the Program:
The purpose of this program is to assist multidisciplinary team partners in recognizing, identifying, and implementing strategies to respond effectively when individual team members’ self-defenses interfere with team functioning. Using a bio/psycho/social/spiritual perspective, the presenter will describe the purpose and nature of the human ego, dispel myths about healthy versus unhealthy ego functioning, offer tools for increasing self-awareness, and provide practical applications for maximizing multidisciplinary team interactions. Designed to be both entertaining and illuminating, the training session utilizes multi-media including video and audio clips from pertinent experts. Team-building initiatives are also incorporated to illustrate main points experientially.
